How It Works
@ Sepang International Circuit (Malaysia)
Group Categories
At our trackday events in Sepang, you will need to select one of the groups below based on your riding ability and level of experience.
Group A: Advanced Group (Fast riders/racers)
Group B: Intermediate Group (Trackday regulars)
Group C: Novice/Beginners Group (First-timers)
Each group is allocated 4 x 20-minute riding slots per four hour session. See here for a typical trackday programme at Sepang.
Sessions
Our Sepang trackdays are divided into two sessions a day - each session has a duration of four hours. Typically we run a morning session from 9am - 1pm, and an afternoon session from 2pm - 6pm.
Each session starts with on-site registration, where you will:
Fill up and submit your indemnity form
Collect a coloured sticker and wristband (according to your group) for you and your bike
You will then need to attend a COMPULSORY safety briefing conducted by one of our SBR Track Managers. This briefing is extremely important for all trackday regulars and especially first-timers.
Your trackday session will then start shortly after the briefing.
First-Timers
All first-timers will be given a short introduction to the track during the safety briefing. Our track marshals will guide you for the entire first session to get you familiarized with the track layout.
We recommend having your bike checked by us before attending our trackdays for safety reasons. At Sepang, you will ride faster than ever before, so your bike, tyres, brakes, suspension etc must be in good condition. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us before booking your first trackday.
